![]() ![]() After about 10 minutes we were let in an enjoyed a cocktail or 2 and the performance by the bartenders as they mixed drinks. ![]() We made our way to the cocktail bar and waited for seats. After 45 minutes we ended up at the Fairmont to have a peek inside. The weather was a bit rainy but started to clear.There are literally hundreds of places to eat. We headed off to find some lunch and came to cafe Nili for a toasted baguette and hot chocolate. The Hotel was within the old walls on corner of Rue Saint Louis and Rue D’Auteuil, the former being a major road down to the famous Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. I’d searched for central accomodation and this fitted the bill being no more than a 20 minute walk to various attractions.Although we were well before scheduled checkin our room was ready so we could leave our baggage in room. We had accomodation booked at Hotel Manoir de L’Esplanade. We arrived by direct flight from Newark about midday. ![]()
